Copenhagen running tour

Get a taste of what's in store for you on race day by taking part in this fun 5K run around the city guided by an experienced runner and a local. Get the lowdown on the city's past and present.

What better way to get ready for the race than a leisurely 5K run through scenic Copenhagen? This tour takes you to all the classic highlights of this beautiful medieval city.

On this 5K run, our experienced guide brings you on a beautiful route showcasing Copenhagen’s famous and less known sights. We’ll be taking it easy (6min/km) through the city’s cobblestoned streets and pass the ‘centre of power’ in the form of the seat of the Danish Parliament at Christiansborg and through Nyhavn’s canals and hear stories from the good old seafaring days and no tour would be complete with tales of Hans Christian Andersen.

We’ll run to  Amalienborg, the royal family’s residence. Filled with anecdotes and stories about the city, the running tour will show you Copenhagen and its colourful history and all from a local’s perspective. This is a great way of loosening up those muscles before the big day on Saturday 29 March 2014 and meeting other runners.

Please note that the 3-night and 6-night packages offer two included tours you can choose from, this running city tour or a bike tour. The 2-night package does not include any tours.
